"Khalisi from Kansas with Carol Burnett humor and a penchant for purple." - My Sister
From an early age, her family called her "Sarah Bernhardt" which logically led to a career in acting. A proud native of Kansas City, she got her BFA from Emerson College in Boston. During her time there, she had the great fortune to study abroad in Amsterdam, learn some stuff, and perform.
She was artistically reared in NYC studying under greats like Larry Moss, then headed to sunnier LA to focus on film and TV. She's been in a bunch of movies and TV shows with people you know, toured nationally singing and doing theatre, and even sprinted full-speed on an Olympics commercial.
People say that she's a little like Jennifer Aniston, a little like Rhea Seahorn, a little like Lucille Ball, a little like Grace Kelley, and a little like any of her heroines that will make her pop up on YOUR google search. Her favorite color is purple, and her ukulele's name is Layla.
Sarah has added the producing feather to her cap with TTTW Productions. Her newest producing endeavor, "3 Days," is a comedic coming-of-age story which has been featured at the Danny Elfman Film Competition at the LA Film Fest sponsored by Indi.com, KC Film Fest, LA Cinefest Semi-finalist and more. More on upcoming and previous projects available on the TTTW website.
